Sunday is not Sunday if it's not at Berl's!
After brunch, come on down for a fantastic reading! Peter is visiting from Rome, Emily is taking a break from editing the next issue of NO, DEAR, and Suzanne knows how to recommend poets for our inventory!!! One exclamation point for each reader.

Emily Brandt's chapbook ManWorld is forthcoming from dancing girl press (August 2014). Her poems have recently appeared in ep;phany, Berkeley Poetry Review, Lyre Lyre, and The Atlas Review. She earned her MFA from New York University where she taught Creative Writing to veterans of the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. She has been in residence at Saltonstall Arts Colony and Elsewhere in Greensboro, NC. She lives in Brooklyn where she edits No, Dear magazine and teaches high school students.
Peter Streckfus is the author of two poetry books: Errings, winner of Fordham University Press’s 2013 POL Editor’s Prize, and The Cuckoo, winner of the Yale Series of Younger Poets competition in 2003. His awards include fellowships and grants from the Breadloaf Writers' Conference, the Peter S. Reed Foundation, the University of Alabama, the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and the American Academy in Rome where he is the 2013-14 Brodsky Rome Prize Fellow in Literature. He is on the faculty of George Mason University’s Creative Writing Program.
Suzanne Wise is the author of the poetry collection The Kingdom of the Subjunctive (Alice James Books). Her poetry can also be found in recent or forthcoming issues of American Letters and Commentary, Bomb, Bone Bouquet, Catch Up, Green Mountains Review, Guernica, Ploughshares, Quaint, and Zaporogue, among other journals. Her work also appears in the anthologies Lit from Inside (Alice James); From the Fishouse (Norton); and Legitimate Dangers: American Poets of the New Century (Sarabande Books). She has been awarded residencies to the MacDowell Colony, Yaddo, the Fine Arts Work Center, the Millay Colony for the Arts, VCCA, and elsewhere. She currently works as a grant writer at Poets House, a poetry library and literary center in New York City.
