May 8 MC Hyland & Erin Morrill

MC Hyland is the author of Neveragainland (Lowbrow Press) and several chapbooks including TOOTHLESS ALTAR (Shirt Pocket Press), Every Night In Magic City (H_NGM_N), and Residential, As In (Blue Hour Press). She runs DoubleCross Press with Jeff Peterson, and is a PhD student at NYU, where she currently studies walking, typewriters, poetics, and Romanticism.

Erin Morrill grew up on the Watauga River in Appalachian Tennessee. She is the co-founding editor of Trafficker Press since 2007. She received her MFA from California College of the Arts in 2010. Recent chapbooks include On Occasion (Diez Press 2013) and MaraudEra (Well Greased Press 2014). She currently resides in Brooklyn. She is a Sagittarius with a Scorpio moon and Cancer rising. She enjoys long walks through Prospect Park with her dog, drinking hot tea, and doing yoga.

Diez 4,5,6 Comes to This Planet

Come to the release of three new Diez chapbooks by authors Daniel Owen, Ken L Walker, and Erin Morrill!

Daniel Owen is the author of the chapbooks Authentic Other Landscape (Diez Press, 2013) and Archipelago (Thirdfloorapartment Press, forthcoming 2014). His poems have appeared in Clock, Death and Life of American Cities, Lungfull!, and elsewhere. He lives in Brooklyn, where he co-edits Poems by Sunday and is an editor at Ugly Duckling Presse.


Ken L. Walker is a copywriter paying off a large amount of debt while living in Brooklyn. His work has been published in Atlas Review, Bright Pink Mosquito,Seattle Review, Washington Square, likewise folio, The Bakery, Sink Review and the anthology Oil & Water, published by Typecast. Diez Press is releasing his chapbook Twenty Glasses of Water this month and he continues to curate the conversation project, Cosmot.


Erin Morrill grew up in Appalachian Tennessee. She runs Trafficker Press with Andrew Kenower. Recent chapbooks include On Occasion with Diez Press and Maraud Era which is forthcoming from Well Greased Press. Her poems and essays have been published in TRY, Trickhouse, Aufgabe, Bombay Gin, and Clock. She lives in Brooklyn.
