John Tipton's surfaces (2004) and his translation of Sophocles' Ajax (2008) were both published by Flood Edtions. A new collection, Paramnesia, and a translation of Aeschylus' Seven Against Thebes are forthcoming from Flood. He is the publisher of Verge Books and lives in Chicago.
Mary Margaret Sloan has published two books of poems; a third, is forthcoming from Verge Books. She edited Moving Borders: Three Decades of Innovative Writing by Women, for which she received a Fund for Poetry Award. She has taught at Mills College, the University of Chicago and in the MFA in Writing Program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She currently lives in New York City.
